Enclose force quit

I just downloaded the release version and was testing it out and got into a situation that will require a force quit.

I clicked on the files menubar, selected a file on my server and clicked the green button. I got a null error message and then when trying to quit the program get a message that a file transfer is in progress. I hit the quit now button but I'm stuck and can only force quit.
