I don't see an option to use sftp or scp.  The ftp protocol send your password in plain text across the internet, which isn't very safe.  It would be nice to support an ssh file transfer which encrypts the entire communication including the password.  Actually, you should support ssh-agent too, so people with encrypted keys set up don't have to type their password at all.

Yes, sftp is on my to-do list. If your server supports WebDAV or another desktop-mountable protocol, that's a more secure option for you than ftp. As you say, FTP does not protect the password, but its so widely used I felt it was useful to support. We do include warnings about this in the docs (but these could be more prominent.) I see if we can do some certificate support as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
