I just downloaded Enclose and used it once as a test. Am I correct to assume you need to have a .mac account for this. I'm sure that's outlined somewhere really clear but why read when I can not. Smiley .. I know .mac account is cool but what if doesn't have one? Would it be too much overhead for Enclose to be tied in to it's own server. Maybe then there's the cost of bandwidth but maybe Enclose could be one of those software that charges yearly or something. I just would love to see this not being tied to .mac only. Just my two cents.

You are not the first to ask this. Actually, Enclose works with many kinds of web servers. If you can upload to it, you can use it. FTP, AFP, SMB, WebDAV. I could suggest other services, but .Mac is only $6.67 a month (from Amazon) for 10GB. Is there anything much cheaper than that? (If there is, please let me know).

Of course, if you already have a website somewhere, you can just use that—as long as you have some space available.
